Family-Fun Workshops 

Make Sunday a family day at the Zoo!  2006 Workshop Programs for Families and Adults.

REPTILES! September 17 - The south eastern U.S. is home to a wide variety of snakes, lizards, turtles, tortoises, alligators and crocodiles. Discover why these scaly friends thrive in the subtropical climate and meet some up close and handson.
Join us as we explore the Wild Florida Reptile & Amphibian House to encounter the venomous creatures of myth and legend.

  • Workshop size is limited to the first 25 people to register.
  • Workshops meet from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Minimum age for workshop participation is 6 years old.
  • Fee:
    • Members:  $4.00 per person
    • *Non-members:  $6.00 per person

    * This fee is for the workshop only and does not include admission to the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, which must be paid separately;  $11.00 per adult ages 13 and up; $6.50 per child ages 3 to 12.
