Disney's newest
theme park is the first with live animals, and
takes visitors back in time to the world of dinosaurs
to the wilds of Africa and the rainforests of
Asia. The star attraction is Kilimanjaro Safaris,
where creatures such as black rhinos, hippos,
African elephants and lions roam openly. Passengers
experience a true African safari in vehicles
that bounce over rutted roads, ford through pools
of hippos and pass herds of zebra, giraffe, gazelle,
elephants and other animals. Make this your first
attraction of the day, as that's when animals
seem to be most active.
